Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Can’t Quit (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application on iOS, iPadOS or Android.

Information We Collect

1. Analytics Data

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience:

• App usage patterns and feature interactions (for example, starting a study session or downloading a deck)
• Subscription events (for example, opening the subscription screen or completing a purchase), without payment details
• Device type, operating system version and an app instance identifier

This data is collected automatically and is not linked to your name or contact details. It is used only for analytics.

2. Local Data

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Your decks and cards, including text, photos you add, and imported files
• Study history and review schedule
• Practice results
• App settings and preferences

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• The content of your cards, photos, or imported files

Photo Library Access

When you add a photo to a card, the app uses the system photo picker, which shares only the photo you choose. The app does not read the rest of your photo library. The photo is resized, its location and camera metadata are removed, and it is stored on your device only.

Deck Downloads

The deck market loads its list and deck files from our content server (cdn.mongdaewon.com, hosted on Cloudflare). These requests do not include any account or personal information. Like any web request, your IP address is processed by Cloudflare to deliver the file.

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Privacy Policy)
• Cloudflare - Delivers deck files (Privacy Policy)
• Apple App Store (iOS) - Handles subscriptions and payments
• Google Play Billing (Android) - Handles subscriptions and payments (Privacy Policy)

Advertising

Can’t Quit does not display any advertisements. We do not use any advertising SDKs and do not use the Advertising ID.

In-App Purchases

Can’t Quit offers Plus, an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Plus unlocks paid decks in the deck market. Free decks, decks you create and imported files do not need a subscription.

Payments and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment details. The app only asks the store whether a subscription is active. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Data Security

Your local data is stored securely on your device. We do not have access to this data. Analytics data is handled by Google according to their security standards.

Children’s Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

• Delete local data: Deleting a deck removes its cards. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
• Analytics data: You can stop further collection by uninstalling the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
