Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Ivy To Do (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

1. Analytics Data

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data to improve the app experience:

• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Device type and operating system version

This data is collected automatically and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. Local Data

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Task entries and completion status
• Daily review memos
• App settings, reminders and preferences
• Your Plus purchase status

3. iCloud Sync (iOS, optional)

If you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, your tasks and memos are stored in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so that they can be shared between your devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data is encrypted by Apple and we have no access to it. iCloud Sync is off by default. Turning it off keeps your data on the device; you can delete the data stored in iCloud from iOS Settings › iCloud.

4. Advertising (Android only)

The iOS app shows no advertisements. The current Android version displays Google AdMob advertisements, which may collect an advertising ID and device information for ad targeting. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device’s privacy settings. This section will be removed when the Android app drops advertising.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Photos, videos, or files
• Contacts or calendar data
• Health data

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics (Privacy Policy)
• Apple iCloud / CloudKit (iOS, only when you turn on iCloud Sync) (Privacy Policy)
• Apple StoreKit (iOS) / Google Play Billing (Android) - For in-app purchases, handled entirely by Apple or Google
• Google AdMob (Android only) (Privacy Policy)

Data Storage

All your task data is stored locally on your device using each platform’s standard app storage - Apple’s SwiftData with App Groups on iOS, and Android’s app storage - so that widgets can read it. If you turn on iCloud Sync on iOS, a copy is also kept in your private iCloud database. We do not operate any servers and have no access to your data.

Data Security

Your local data is stored securely on your device. Data you choose to sync through iCloud is protected by Apple. We do not have access to either.

Children’s Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

• Delete local data: Uninstalling the app, or Settings › Reset Data, removes all locally stored data
• Delete iCloud data (iOS): iOS Settings › iCloud › Manage Storage › Ivy To Do
• Android only - Reset Advertising ID / opt out of personalized ads: Available in your device’s privacy settings

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
